From the Research Development
Consultant’s Desk
Dear Parents,
As we close this school year, here are some behind-the-scenes insights into
how we've been facilitating your child’s EPG early years education journey.
We focused on learning approaches that re ect both global best practices and
the values that make our community unique.
Curriculum Development
We’ve collaborated closely with our teachers to re ne how we deliver the
curriculum — improving our planning, strengthening early language and
maths foundations and aligning with the latest research on how children
develop and learn in different ways.
Pedagogical Enhancements
Our monthly parent bulletins have highlighted continuous provision, along
with more invitations for problem-solving opportunities and real-life,
meaningful learning scenarios. These were intentional — designed to promote
critical thinking, communication and independence, which are key goals in
early childhood education.
Research-Driven Improvements
Our teachers have been engaged in ongoing re ection, workshops and
coaching. This means our approaches aren’t just grounded in theory but are
also shaped by what genuinely works for children in our speci c environment.
Cultural Connections
We are proud of how we’ve embedded more local context and cultural
identity into learning — celebrating Kuwaiti traditions and language, while
still embracing global perspectives.
Next Year’s Vision
We’re already planning exciting developments for the coming year, including
stronger home–school connections, fresh inspirations for child-led exploration
and improved ways to share your child’s progress that are both accessible
and meaningful.
