FSL-FS2 Cultural Centre Trip/
Scienti c Centre
Our FSL, FS1, and FS2 pupils embarked on an exciting educational
adventure to Cultural and Scienti c Centre. The trip was lled with
wonder, curiosity, and hands-on learning, offering our young learners
a fun and engaging way to explore new ideas.
Upon arrival, the children were warmly welcomed by friendly staff who
guided us through a variety of interactive exhibits. They took part in
simple science experiments, explored interactive displays, and even had
the chance to look through microscopes. The journey continued to the
aquarium, where a world of underwater wonders awaited. The children
wandered through exhibits featuring colourful sh, jelly sh, sea turtles,
and even small sharks. The vibrant marine life, the gentle sway of
seaweed, and the rhythmic movement of aquatic creatures created a
rich sensory environment. These experiences are vital for young
children’s sensory development and help enhance their observational
skills and attention spans.
The children listened attentively as the teacher explained how the sea
creatures live and what they eat. They were completely engaged with
the age-appropriate exhibits. It was wonderful to see them asking
questions and making connections between what they’ve learnt in the
classroom and the real world. Engaging in conversations about the
animals’ characteristics and behaviours further reinforced their
language skills. It was heart-warming to see their faces light up with
discovery.
This educational excursion not only supported the children’s learning
but also engaged their senses, expanded their vocabulary, stimulated
curiosity, and promoted social, emotional, and imaginative
development. It was a day full of laughter, learning, and lasting
memories.
