100 Days Maths Week
100 Days Maths Week at EPG:
An Adventure with Numbers
At EPG, our Early Years children embarked on an
exciting adventure to celebrate 100 Days Maths
Week—a week lled with exploration, creativity, and
the joy of learning! From the moment they stepped into
their classrooms, the magic of 100 Days Maths
surrounded them, sparking curiosity and excitement.
Throughout the week, children engaged with the number
100 in creative and interactive ways. They built
towering structures with 100 blocks, designed intricate
patterns, and tackled fun counting challenges. Activities
like sorting, grouping, and estimating strengthened their
number sense and problem-solving skills. They
discovered that maths isn’t just about numbers—it’s
about thinking, exploring, and having fun!
The learning didn’t stop there. Working in pairs, the
children collaborated to solve maths challenges, shared
their discoveries, and celebrated their achievements. It
was a week of teamwork, perseverance, and
con dence-building, reinforcing the idea that every small
step in learning adds up to something bigger.
By the end of the celebration, the children weren’t just
100 days smarter—they had transformed into little
Maths whizzes with a deeper understanding of numbers
and patterns. As they continue their learning journey,
the excitement of 100 Days Maths Week will stay with
them, reminding them that Maths is everywhere, and
every number has a story to tell!
