Isra and Mi’raj
Isra and Mi’raj
Celebration at EPG
At EPG, the Isra and Mi'raj celebration provides
young learners with an opportunity to connect with
Islamic history in an engaging way. Through
storytelling, creative activities, and interactive
lessons, children learn about the miraculous journey
of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from Makkah to
Masjid Al-Aqsa and his ascension to the heavens.
This immersive approach helps children understand
the signi cance of this event.
The occasion also emphasises the importance of the
ve daily prayers (Salah), teaching children why
prayer is central to Islam. They explore the religious
signi cance of Masjid Al-Aqsa, one of Islam's holiest
sites, through discussions and activities.
Children also participate in nasheed singing,
expressing their faith and love for Allah through
simple, meaningful Islamic songs. This fosters unity,
joy, and a warm spiritual atmosphere.
At EPG, the celebration is more than just an event;
it’s an opportunity to instil faith, good character,
and a love for Islamic teachings. Through
storytelling, prayer education, historical exploration,
and joyful expression, we help children build a
strong foundation in their faith while embracing
kindness, devotion, and spiritual growth.
