Earth Day (Open Day)

Recycling is important in ensuring that we leave
a thriving and sustainable environment for the
future generation. This was the focus of the
Earth Day/ Recycling Week Celebration.

The activities done by our young learners
together with their teachers and parents,
highlighted the signi cance of recycling. Aside
from enjoying the tasks given to them, they also
had a chance to bond with their parents. The
children participated in interactive activities
such as Sorting Games, Mung Beans Planting,
Dirty Cups with Gummy Worms, and Save the
Earth Banner games which were very engaging
and age appropriate. They managed to do the
tasks perfectly with so much enthusiasm.

Recycling with children is a signi cant activity
both at home and at school. It demonstrates to
children how they can protect resources in their
own little way. Such an eye-opening for our
young learners!
