Less Stress, More Success!
                                                 Exam preparation

           ● Students should be well rested and have done sufficient revision to be confident

                  entering the assessment.
           ● Students should have all necessary materials in packed in their bags from the night

before e.g. Pens, pencils, rulers, calculators and mathematical sets, with them for the
                  exams
           ● Students should not have any materials or devices on their person that may suggest

they are seeking answers to assist them in answering in the assessment
           ● ● Writing on hands or clothing may suggest an attempt for the student to assist the

answering of questions in the exams and therefore is forbidden and hands should be
                  washed thoroughly before the exam
           ● Punctuality is vital

           ● Have the School Uniform washed and fresh for each day
           ● Go to the Toilet before the exam starts and don’t drink too much to avoid going
                  during the exam

           ● ● Healthy eating and sleep enhance the brain function, be kind to yourself.

           Study:

Study is vital and not just a last minute effort before assessment but a daily attendance to
reviewing, learning and revising the materials covered in your lessons. You may not

remember all of it but when you come back to it, you will be able to retrieve the information
           very quickly.

How do you ensure you’re keeping up with your study?
           ● ● Routine - be organised, know when you are going to study but more importantly,
know when you will be off to relax and have fun. Try to start and finish at the same
time so that it becomes a good habit.
           ● Timetable for Revision - put revision into your daily study timetable
           ● Good Planning - knowing exactly what you will do, how much time it will take
           ● ● Have short term goals - keeping in mind the need for long term retention - each
day is adding to your knowledge that will bring you to success in your assessments
                   and exams

           ● Set up your study space - a desk and chair, good lighting, cool (to ensure you
don't drift off to sleep), quiet and phone free. Switch off everything else so that you
can give 100% of your attention to your study, uninterrupted. When study is done
then you can have uninterrupted phone time.
