Active learning means putting your learning into something
Active learning requires students to do meaningful learning activities and think about
what they are doing”
It involves focus and presence and it is far more engaging than sitting and reading.
It stays with you because you were involved in doing the action.

Remember:
You may be a mix of all three and it is important to try to establish what works for you.
Time Spent Studying
When students say they spent hours studying and their efforts are not showing in their work,
the first question to ask is, “how much of that time did you seriously focus?”
It
It is not the time spent studying that is important, it is the quality of study done during that
time. So much good time off is wasted pretending to study.
It is better to spend 15 minutes of focused time on a task than 1 hour of unfocused time.
If you maximise the time spent studying, you can maximise the time spent relaxing and
having fun.
Remember:
When the quality of your study starts to decline, it is time to have a break.
Some students can stuy for long periods of time while others cannot.

This is not a strength or a failing, it is the variety that is the human being and it is best if you
find your best study method.
If you find your focus and concentration drops after a short time then cut your sessions into
short but concentrated sessions.
The more you achieve, the better you feel when you're off and relaxing.
