Super Dad
Super Dad
Fathers play a role in every child’s life that cannot be
lled by others. This role can have a large impact on a
child and help shape him or her into the person they
become. Fathers, like mothers, are pillars in the
development of a child’s emotional well-being. Children
look to their father. Fathers explain the rules and
model them. They also look to their fathers to provide
a feeling of security, both physical and emotional.
Children want to make their fathers proud, and an
involved father promotes inner growth and strength.
Studies have shown that when fathers are affectionate
and supportive, it greatly affects a child’s cognitive and
social development. It also instils self-con dence. We
are always keen to build strong relationships between
family members. Super Dad is a day to celebrate and
appreciate the incredible dads in EPG on 30 April every
year. It was such a pleasure seeing all the fathers,
laughing, posing for pictures, and making memories
with their little ones. On this day our children show
their dads how much they mean to them, by using
creativity and imagination to craft something
special with art and creativity, such as cards. The
children hugged their fathers and said a big thank you
to them for all the things they did for them.
