22 My World Earth Day 25
My World Earth Day
Our EPG children celebrated My World Day by wearing their beautiful and brightly coloured
International Day costumes and displayed their creativity through home-made hats made from different
kinds of recyclable materials. It is always exciting to watch and experience the children participating in
home activities and bring their art work to school to share with their teacher and friends. Our children
were so creative, and their hat creations had all the teachers proud and in awe. Through different fun
and exciting activities in class, the children spent their school day learning about the importance of our
World; why we need to take care of it and how to take care of it. The children also learnt that our World
is not just our actual planet that we live on but our community around us: family, friends and school.
How we take care of our World will greatly impact our future and if we learn to make a difference today,
then all of our future tomorrows will bene t in a positive way.
