2. SCOPE

The scope of this work is to provide a technical assessment of the DFS4 series under construction (Chinasat 9A, 16, 18 &
LAOSAT-1) for the Beazley assurance group. Four spacecrafts are under consideration for this study. The analysis is
based on documents (REF1-REF6). In section 5 the programmatic will be discussed, and then in sections 6 to 9, an
assessment of each spacecraft will be presented. The ultimate goal is to identify spacecraft / items at risk.
