2. Do you think absence of car insurance is a violation of the law?

Sample answer:
Absolutely, driving without car insurance may result to suspension of driving privileges. It may
lead to fines or even imprisonment. Motorists should never neglect this. Remember that neg-
ligence is not an excuse. You have to protect yourself and likewise anyone from the road that
you are taking.
3. If you can create your own car insurance plan, how would you like it to be?

Sample answer:
Of course, I would want to it to be comprehensive. I want have an affordable, yet complete
plan. I need something, which will protect both my car and the other car, which I might en-
counter. I will definitely demand for a brand new replacement of car. All of these features for
an affordable price.

1. You are a newly graduate student. Your Dad gave you a Chevrolet Avalanche,
but you are confused of getting car insurance. It is you first time to inquire
for such. You went in an internet café and surfed for information.

Sample answer:
Oh, I am afraid I will not be able to get the best plan for my car. I just want to see first some
information for the net. However, how do I get started? I see it is best to use search engines
on the net. I wanted to get an idea on how to get a policy, but I have noticed that they have
several plans posted on the net. Maybe it is best to talk about it over the phone, so I could ask
for more.

2. You are a flight attendant in an international airway. Your assignment is in
Melbourne. You used to bring your car along and just leave it in the park-
ing area. Unfortunately, there was a collision and your car was damaged.
The sad, part was that, you did not get a comprehensive car insurance plan.
At the time, you had bought the car, you did not think of any accident that
might come your way. Even if it is at the parking area an accident may still
happen.

Sample answer:
I did not think that such accident could happen even if the car is in the parking area. I am happy
that no one got hurt, but I am sad too. I did not expect that I lose my car that way. It was just a
year old. If only I could have taken advantage of insurance policies, I might not have any wor-
ries. Anyway, I should let go of my car. From now on, I will take comprehensive car insurance, so
I need not worry even if my car is just parked or in motion.
