Chapter 6 Hobbies and Interests

                   Unit 4: Exercising


          A lot of people use their spare time to exercise to keep their body fit. Some go to the
          gym to work out, while most just exercise at home or in the neighborhood. Tell me
          about activities you do to keep your body healthy.



              Answer A:
                I go to the gym to exercise. Usually, after school, I walk straight to the gym and do cardio
               workouts. I pump iron too. It helps me build my body. Sometimes, when there’s too much to
               study and I go home late, I just go to a nearby swimming pool to workout. I swim for an hour. It
               makes me refresh my body. On weekends, I jog to the park. Sometimes, I go on a hiking trip to
               the mountain with my family. This not only improves our metabolism but also the bond among
               us. My friends are envious of my body. They ask me how I manage to exercise after a hard
               day in school. I tell them it’s just a matter of dedication to have a healthier lifestyle. I believe that
               exercising is a main reason why I don’t get under the weather.
