Chapter 2 One’s Residence
Unit 1: One’s Home
Let us now talk about your current residence. Try to picture the features of your
home. Discuss the details vividly.
Answer A:
I presently reside in Busan with my elder sister. We live in a small townhouse that she just
bought last year. It has a small living room and kitchen, spacious enough for five people. There
are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well. My favorite spot is the porch. We spend the
morning having a sip of hot cocoa drink while looking at the flowers in our neighbor’s backyard.
The house is not well-furnished yet, but we have the appliances needed for daily living. The
bedrooms have built-in cabinets and wooden beds. The living room has a sofa and two bean
bag chairs where my sister and I would sit when watching TV shows. The place is cool even
during summer because it is well-ventilated. We have accessorized some parts of the house
with a few pieces of art work my sister has been collecting. I place some indoor plants and fresh
flowers in the dining area and bathroom occasionally. We keep our home fresh and neat all the
time.
