Chapter 1 Self Introduction

                   Unit 1: Personality and Character

Prompt: Young people are generally energetic and fun-loving people. How about
you? Talk about your particular characteristics or qualities.

              Answer A:
Congeniality is the first thing people usually notice in me. They would say I often greet them with
warmth or with a smile. My grandmother once told me that a smile can brighten up people’s day.
I have always kept an optimistic outlook in life since then. I may be just an average student, but
I enjoy school life. I do not have an outstanding scholastic standing all the time, but I make sure
that I always internalize important things taught to us in school. As for my negative qualities, I
have the tendency to procrastinate things at times. I have developed the habit of cramming during
exam period. When given an errand to do at home, I always postpone doing it for something
else. I hope I can get rid of this bad habit because it would not be helpful for me when I get older.

              Points to emphasize in answering:

Think of a distinct trait that you have.

Mention the trait/s and try to add supporting details to develop the discussion.
                  - positive qualities
                  - weakness

Conclude the discussion by stating a personal resolution.
