I live with my family in an apartment located in downtown Seoul. We moved to this place five
years ago. At first, it was not that convenient for me and my younger brother because we were
accustomed to staying in a bigger house. Our current home is on the 9 floor of the building. It

has a floorage of 70 square meters. The living room occupies the biggest space. The kitchen
and dining area is large enough for the four of us. There are two bedrooms and bathrooms, too.
We have minimized the number of furniture inside the house. Too much furnishing makes the
place look crowded. Most of our appliances are new. My parents sold some of the old ones in a
garage sale. Our family tries to adopt a minimalist style in designing and maintaining our home.
We find it more cozy living in a simple and less decorative home.
