Answer B:
Cooking with kids may seem like we’re playing at first, but you can learn a lot from it. Let’s start
with the basics, and today, I’ll teach you how to bake. First, we need to know and be familiar
with the recipe. For now, we will bake a simple chiffon cake. Then, we need to gather the
ingredients and the equipment we need to use. When baking, always see to it that we use high
quality ingredients since the ingredients affect the outcome of the food. Next, we need to preheat
the oven. Always remember to preheat the oven to make sure that it is already in the desired
temperature once we put food in it. This will avoid undercooking or overcooking. Afterwards,
measure the ingredients and mix them according to the recipe. When baking, always mix dry
ingredients together first, like flour, salt, sugar and baking soda. Then, we gradually mix in the
wet ingredients, like water, oil, and egg yolks. The batter should be smooth. Then, we fold
beaten egg whites into the batter. After that, we place the batter in the pan and put it in the oven.
Always follow the correct cooking time to avoid getting your cake overcooked or undercooked.
After 30 minutes, take it out of the oven and cool it on the wire rack. This allows air to circulate
around the cake. We can now dig in this cake! Next time, I’ll teach you how to make frosting for
               this cake.

              Points to emphasize in answering:

                   Introduce the method of cooking.
[example: I’ll teach you how to bake.]

Provide an example of the food you are to cook.
[example: For now, we will bake a simple chiffon cake.]

Provide a step-by-step guide on the basics of cooking. Transitions like “First”,
“Then” and “After” help a lot.
