Last week, we all looked forward to snorkeling in the sea. We had a voyage in beaches in the
country last year, and it was grand! My sister wanted nothing but a tan. We called it “beach-
hopping”. Last week, we were all planning to go to Jeju Island. However, as the weekend was
nearing, the weather forecaster announced about a bad weather. It ruined the plan! What about
our snorkeling? What about my sister’s tanning? Such questions aroused when the drastic news
was delivered. However, my dad said, “It has been a long time since we had a vacation together,
so why not go for it? Let not a little rain dampen our spirits.” Thus, the next day, despite the dark
sky, we all headed to Jeju Island. The rain started pouring while we were still on the way. When
we got to the place, there wasn’t a soul enjoying the beach. That’s why we were surprised when
my little brother ran off to the beach, dancing in the rain. We looked at each other and joined
in the fun. We even played volleyball in the rain! It was fantastic! Never in my life had I taken a
shower under the rain, and I guarantee, a swim in the sea cannot compare to it.
