Answer B:
Everyone has a memorable moment to reminisce. It could be a pleasant, sad, funny or even
embarrassing experience. One of my most unforgettable adventures is winning second place in an
intercollegiate cooking competition. The event was sponsored by a world famous food company.
All the contestants were university students. I was the only one who represented a high school. I
did not have any idea that it would be a big competition, so I just focused on preparing the food
ingredients and my kitchen utensils. I started feeling inferior when I saw the preparations being
done by other contestants who were Culinary Arts and HRM majors. My homeroom teacher,
who was supposed to aide me, was not even there, so our school paper adviser accompanied
us instead. Two of my best friends tagged along. When the contest commenced, I just did my
best and concentrated on my cooking and presentation. In less than an hour, my taro dish and
dessert was ready for evaluation. It only took half an hour for the judges to come up with a
decision. All the participants were given consolation prices. I was expecting to receive one, but
luckily, I was awarded second place. I went home content and grateful.
