I recently joined the glee club. I enjoy singing in a group. Usually, members are good singers.
I am proud to say I am one. However, I know I am not that much of an expert when it comes
to musical terms. I didn’t even know before that I was a soprano! In club meetings, we always
practice vocalization. We sing out hilarious syllables like ma-me-mi-mo-mu, aside from the
usual do-re-mi. Then, we practice on how to blend our voices together. When we sing a piece,
it’s so heavenly! Once, we joined an interschool choir competition. We practiced for months
before the performance. I bade a short-term goodbye to chocolates and ice cream, just to
save my throat from the wrath of sweets. When the day came, we gave our best. Everyone was
amazed! Sadly, we just won second prize. Still, the sacrifice that we all did was worth it. We
promise that we will bring home the bacon the next time we compete.
