Lesson 16
Preparation
Sacrifice
For me, I find sacrificing the noblest
thing to do. It is giving up something that’s
dear to you for the sake of something else.
The outcome might not always benefit the
person who sacrificed. But why do people are
still willing to do it?
With my realizations, I found out that what drives me to do it is because of
love. Being human, I am capable of loving. I grew up in a Catholic community
and learned to love my neighbor as I love myself. They called it Altruism-self-
sacrificing for the benefits of others. What about you? How far can you go in
sacrificing?
