1. Shelly had a meeting with her boss just a few minutes ago. He told her that
she’s considered for a higher position. Her boss will decide after he sees the
next presentation. As a mentor, she needs to hear from you about the recent
presentation.

Sample answer:
In my opinion, I can say that you did a good job out there, but it would have been
better if you have practiced all my pointers for you during the entire presentation.
I understand that this presentation is very important to you but you don’t have to
panic and be stressed. If you want to have the best presentation ever, you should first
trust yourself and just give your best shot. Obstacles normally come right on your way
during a presentation, but there are methods to consider during such obstacles. You
won’t be able to help yourself out if you lose faith. If you will just be composed and
systematic you’ll be able to get things done. Trust me, it is better to work in a condu-
cive and amiable environment rather than in a stressful surrounding. Bear in mind that
it always pays to listen.

2. Everybody was really having fun. You were done with your project; however,
you’re the only soul who’s not enjoying because the presentation for that
project will be held tomorrow. You were all confused on whose going to do
the presentation. You decided to base your decision on the feedback from
other presentations.

Sample answer:
I’m not really sure who’s the right one to choose but I think I would have to consider
Jelina for that particular task since all my faith is in her. I know that she had outwitted
the audience many times before. Kidding aside, I know that her dream will captivate
everyone and even all of us. She just needs to keep her best practices at all times.
There are some flaws and I’ve noticed some weaknesses, but they are workable. I can’t
deny that if she’ll only continue on performing more often and at the best that she
can, she’ll soon be one of the top. She’s definitely an asset to the company. I cannot
think of anyone else who can do better for the job except for her. I know that everyone
will agree with my suggestion. There’s no doubt that she’ll also be recommended by
everyone for her outstanding performance to do that certain task. Do we have any
