Alice: Hi, Mary! How did the negotiations with the suppliers end up?
Mary: We were able to reach an amicable settlement in the end. It was not easy to reach that
point, though.

Mary: Really, my intonation shows how grateful I am for this.
Alice: Yes, no wonder why you have a big smile on your face now.
Mary: Definitely! I owe it to you, Alice. The tips you gave me about negotiating really helped a lot.
Alice: You’re very welcome. Good luck on your future negotiations.
Mary: Thanks! Keep in touch.
Alice: Don’t worry, I will. Take care.
