                                                           Abstract

                                 This dissertation aimed to study (1) to study the concepts, theories, and
                       anger management from a psychological perspective, (2) to examine the Dhamma for

                       anger conquering in Theravada Buddhist scriptures and 3) to integrate psychological
                       anger management with the Dhamma in Theravada Buddhist scriptures. The study

                       employed a Mixed Methods Research approach with an Exploratory Sequential

                       Design. The research framework was based on Spielberger’s psychological anger
                       management theory. The sample consists of 415 individuals aged 20 and older who do

                       not have psychiatric disorders, was selected using Snowball sampling and evaluated
                       with the State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory (STAXI). Data were analyzed using

                       Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The
                       research results were found as follows;

                                 1) Anger, according to psychological approaches, was a natural human
                       emotion. It was both positive and negative effects. Therefore, managing anger was

                       should focus on creating it constructively rather than eliminating it. The research

                       suggested a psychological anger management method known as the “RRCCFLHR
                       Model.”

                                 2) Anger had negative impacts, such as self-destruction and suffering, and
                       thus needs to eliminate or conquer it. A cause of Anger was Akusala-måla: roots of

                       bad actions (Greed, Hatred, Delusion) along with five supporting factors, which were:
