Non-traditional Students Land Prestigious Co-Ops
Broome High School senior Harley Graham is participating in a
DMTC work-based learning experience with Renfrow Industrial.
She is pictured beside an industrial equipment control panel that
she assisted with wiring while on the job. Before beginning her
co-op, Harley worked as a service learner in the Electricity class
assisting level I students. In addition to her technical skills, Harley
plays soccer for Broome High School and raises, trains, and hauls
horses long distance as a side hobby. Harley will be a completer
in Electricity when she graduates in May.
Broome High School junior Kailey Tate, a Machine Tool
and Mechatronics student, is participating in a work-
based learning assignment with Noonan Race Engineer-
ing. Noonan designs, develops, and manufactures en-
gines for the ultimate form of racing. Kailey was able to
use her drag racing hobby and her skills from DMTC to
market herself to this prestigious company and land a
dream co-op experience.
