Media Technology Classes Apply Newly Acquired Skills

Mr. Thompson’s Media Technology
Level II classes are in the process of
completing a silent film project. Each
class had the opportunity to spend a
full school day shooting on location
for this project. Through this process
the classes will show their knowledge
of pre-production (planning and
scripting), production (shooting the
raw footage), post-production (the
editing process which includes video,
audio, and graphics) and finally the dis-
tribution process. Look for these two
silent films to be released very soon.
The students gained valuable hands on
experience completing this project and
enjoyed two beautiful days filming out-
doors.

Officer Whitt Honored on National SRO Day

February 15, 2023, was National School Resource Officer
Day. We would like to thank Officer Hunter Whitt for all he
does to create a secure and positive environment for our
students and staff. Officer Whitt has been a guest speaker
in several of our classrooms, helps encourage students to
complete certifications, and has implemented a quarterly
Citizenship Award to recognize students. Thank you for
your hard work, kindness, and constant dedication to our
school.
