The Sourness in your mouth
Have you ever been shocked in a good way by something you’ve never tried before? If you’ve
never had that experience, I suggest you go to the food stands run by southeast Asian people.
I promise, you’ll have your first experience freaked out by delicious food with
extremely cheap price.
To convince you more to have a bite on these exotic cuisines, I have talked to an owner of a
Southeast Asia food stand asking about the features why people should try her dishes. Her
name is 家心 (Jia Hsin) which also sounds like “salary raise” in Chinese pronunciation. She
came from Vietnam, and she has run the stand with her husband for five years now. They’ve
really dedicated themselves into making delicious cuisines here. During the chat with her, we
talked a lot of things about her stand, her business and her recent life in pandemic.
家心越南小吃
(Jia Hsin Vietnamese Food),
located in the industrial district next to the
Taoyuan train station. In Chinese, "Jia Hsin"
not only symbolizes owner's name but also
implicts the expectation of slaries raise.
