Inscribed as the MOWCAP register in 2008
In the 14th century, when Nāgarakrĕtāgama was written, Majapahit
experienced the peak of its cultural prosperity with the birth of many
literary works that are still passed down to this day. One of these,
Nāgarakrĕtāgama, is not only a poem praising King Hayam Wuruk, but
also a valuable record of the king's travels around his kingdom, tracing
the history of his ancestors, and interacting directly with the people to
understand their lives and problems. The record of a king's journey for
the welfare of his people was unique in its time and can be a valuable
lesson to this day.
