Since the early 1900s, the Indarung I factory has been a pioneer of gender inclusivity by
involving women as employees and owners of lorry land. The diversity of employees from the
Netherlands, China, and Indonesia makes it a multicultural workplace. Meanwhile, its
contributions to important infrastructure in Asia, such as ports in Singapore and railways in
Sri Lanka, cement its position as a valuable industrial legacy.
