The general public’s knowledge about high-performance concrete technology is still relatively low. They perceive the production of
high-performance concrete to be similar to regular concrete, which they consider to be easy, just by mixing five main materials: cement, water,
admixture, sand, and gravel, resulting in high-performance concrete. However, the materials for concrete mixtures, especially aggregates,
vary widely from the lowest quality to the highest quality that meets the requirements for high-performance concrete mixtures.
