THE STAUNCH TEST

If a woman is beaten, stalked, sexually exploited, abducted, tortured, raped,
murdered or otherwise subjected to violence, that’s a
Staunch Test FAIL
A FAIL can encompass many forms of violence against women, including
psychological abuse such as gas-lighting and coercive control, choking (as
foreplay or unwanted ‘sexy’ rough play), and so on down a very long list.
The UNITED NATIONS defines violence against women as
"any act of gender-based violence that results in, or is likely to result in, physical,
sexual, or mental harm or suffering to women, including threats of such acts,
coercion or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether occurring in public or in private
life."
