Old Dominion Chapter #364, Light Horse Harry Lee Camp. At its October 19, 2022, meeting, Old
Dominion Chapter hosted a number of JROTC Cadets, their families and Instructors. Each Cadet was
presented a certificate from the Chapter recognizing their selections as Outstanding Cadets as determined by
their Attachment leaders. The accompanying picture shows all of the Cadets along with their military sponsors
and all of the Sojourners and other Brothers who were present in uniform. On the left of the group is Brother
William R. Sanner, Federal Area Representative, and on the right, Brother Les Albers, Secretary Emeritus and
Camp Adjutant, who was awarded the Federal Area Outstanding Hero Award. LHHL Camp presented the
Service Flags program, which is why these two brothers were wearing their Colonial uniforms. The Chapter
enlisted some of the Cadets to form the Color Guard at the Chapter’s opening, as well as to present the service
flags during the program. The program was well received by the 40 plus attendees.
