TITLE VOTE AND BALLOT

Bylaws Article VII, Section 7 is ambiguous on when a vote or a ballot is
WHEREAS appropriate at a National Convention, and
Voting on Masonic business is conducted in the open,
Revise National Bylaws Article VII, Section 7. VOTE AND BALLOT by deleting
the word "typically" in the 5th sentence, sixth line to read:
THEREFORE Balloting is used when the secrecy of one's choice is required, such as electing a So-
BE IT journer for the Legion of Honor or electing an Honorary Member.
RESOLVED And the following sentence be added after that sentence:
Balloting can only be used for other business when approved by a majority vote for
the specific item of business.
