TITLE NATIONAL TRUSTEES: Article VI, Section 14b

In the development of the National Constitutions and Bylaws from the NATIONAL
REGULATION 8.1.1, two words were added to the Duties of the Trustees, “business
operations.” This addition was not approved by the Constitutional Commission and
must be removed. The Trustees interpret these words as their authority to control
WHEREAS ALL OF THE OPERATIONS of National Sojourners, Inc. The duties of the Trustees
are to exercise general supervision and oversight over the budget, finances, proper-
ties, and investments of National Sojourners, Inc. ONLY. The operations of National
Sojourners, Inc. is the responsibility of the Elected National Line Officers (NP, NPE,
N1VP, N2VP, N3VP and NS-T)
THEREFORE That the words “business operations” be removed from Article VI, Section 14(b) of
BE IT the National By-Laws.
