TITLE ALLIED SERVICE RANK

ARTICLE III, Section 2: Membership for Soldiers of an allied nation are limited to
Warrant and Commissioned Officers, who must have served during the time of war,
while the C&BLs for membership for American Soldiers were opened for all ranks.
WHEREAS Whereas, Congress has not declared our Nation at war since WWII and we have
had allied nations fight alongside the United States in Korea, Vietnam, the Cold War,
Iraq, and Afghanistan.
To extend the membership to Soldiers from allied nations allowing all ranks, and
amend ARTICLE III, Section 2 to read:
Section 2. ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP: This membership category is limited to
United States citizens, who are Master Masons and are currently serving or have
served honorably in the Regular or Reserve components of the United States in the
Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Ser-
vice Commissioned Corps, or National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Commissioned Officer Corps, or predecessor services. Also included are the orga-

BE IT nized militia consisting of State Guard and Naval Militia and United States citizens
RESOLVED and Master Masons, who have served in any rank while serving in an armed service
of a nation allied with the United States.
Therefore, be it further resolved that this policy be adopted effective after the 2025
Annual Convention.
Therefore, be it further resolved that upon passage of this resolution any other pro-
vision of the National Constitution and Bylaws affected by this resolution and not
specifically amended or referenced in this resolution shall be amended and shall be
interpreted to be in conformity with this resolution.
