          CAMP NEWS


          LIGHT HORSE HARRY LEE CAMP (OLD DOMINION #364), Les Albers, Adjutant.

          On 19 March 2025 Light Horse Harry Lee Camp, Heroes of ‘76 delivered the Building the Flag Ceremony to over
         thirty attendees at the monthly meeting of Old Dominion Chapter #364, Fairfax, VA. Camp Commander Aaron Irvin
         (Past President) introduced the participating Heroes and superbly provided the narration for the ceremony. Heroes John
         Vanden Berghe and Steven Wasko proudly assembled Old Glory. Each of the three Heroes sported full colonial dress
         uniforms representing the Continental Marines and Army. This Bridge of Light presentation is an annual event intended
         to introduce Blue Lodge Masters and Wardens to National Sojourners and the ceremonies offered by the Heroes of ‘76
         and has always generates requests for support from the camp. Among the 12 guests were a District Deputy Grand Master
         for  the  Grand  Master,  five  Worshipful  Masters,  and  four  Senior  Wardens  representing  seven  local  Masonic  lodges.
         National Sojourner Headquarters and Past Chapter Presidents were represented by National Secretary/Treasurer Brothers
         Mark  Underwood  (Current  NST)  and  William  Sanner  (Past  NST  and  Committee  of  33)  and  Brother  Barry  Bartley
         (Committee of 33). This was a heartwarming and memorable patriotic event.

          On  1  July  2025  Light  Horse  Harry  Lee
         Camp,  Heroes  of  ’76,  delivered  the
         Building the Flag Ceremony to over twenty
         attendees  at  Springfield  Lodge  #217,
         Springfield, VA. Past President and Aaron
         Irvin  introduced  the  participating  Heroes
         and superbly provided the narration for the
         ceremony.  Heroes  Terry  Gigure  and  Les
         Albers  proudly  assembled  Old  Glory.
         Brother  Irvin  explained  the  membership
         requirements  for  National  Sojourners,  the
         Chapter’s support for the Willing Warriors
         Retreat  Center,  recognized  the  veterans  in
         attendance and provided the “What’s it all
         about”  information  flyer  to  the  Lodge.
         Brother Irvin presented the Bridge of Light
         certificate  to  Worshipful  Master  and
         Sojourner Chapter member Thomas Nance.
         Brothers Irvin, Gigure and Albers formed a
         color guard while Hero Buddy Wagner led
         the  assembly  in  the  Pledge  of  Allegiance

         This  was  a  heartwarming  and  memorable
         patriotic event.
