     30                                                                                           THE SOJOURNER
          NEW LONDON CHAPTER #58, Greg Webster, 1VP.  New London Chapter #58 did its Patriotic Duty on
         July 4th  to  celebrate our nation’s  Independence.   A large replica of the War of 1812 American Flag was
         carried in Honor and Respect of those who served and sacrificed before us. It is always a nice parade and this
         year we were provided great weather, too!  Thank you to all who served, and all those who participated in
         marching this day. A special “Thanks” also to the Brothers of Coastal Lodge #57 and Brainard Lodge #102 for
         their participation and assistance.  The parade is open to all Brothers, so, we hope to see more next year!!!
          BRAZOS  VALLEY  CHAPTER  #378,  Lee  Gillum,  Secretary.  Brazos  Valley  Chapter  #378  presented
         “Building the Flag” at Brazos Union Lodge No. 129, AF &AM on Patriot’s Day, September 11, 2025.  There
         were  23  people  in  attendance,  including  teachers  from  Bryan  Independent  School  District  (ISD)  that  were
         acknowledged as Teachers of the Year 2024-25, and who were being presented with honorariums of $500
         each.    Bro.  Randal  Smallwood,  and  Lady  Denetta;  Bro.  Clyde  Collins  and  Lady  Linda  and  Bro.  Mike
         Simpson, and Lady Laura were in period dress and 3 other Sojourners/Heroes were in attendance.  Brazos
         Valley Sojourners was proud to present the “Building the Flag” Program.
