The hotel staff were introduced and received a warm acknowledgement for their help and support which was
followed by other basic administrative announcements concerning the ANC.
Two keynote speeches were presented:

Illustrious Brother, David A. Glattly, 33 , Sovereign Grand Commander, AASR, Northern Masonic Jurisdic-
tion, USA, who by podcast, apologized for not being able to attend in person and be with his Brother Sojourn-
ers. He spoke on one of the 6 core values of the NMJ that being devotion to Country and welcomed everyone
to the ANC.

Illustrious Brother, Robert J. Bateman, 33 , AASR – NMJ, PGM of PA, was introduced by Brother Roth as
Director of all Veteran’s Programs and Services for the Northern Scottish Rite. Ill. Brother Bateman spoke on
devotion to Country, our Founding Fathers, and other historical figures that were devoted to our Country.
The National President presented a “Scottish Rite Veterans Recognition Program” to recognize those who
have served or are serving our Country in uniform. The program was well received by all.
An election for the open positions for the Board of Trustees was held. The following members will be serv-
ing for the periods indicated:

The following resolutions were presented to the delegates for discussion and balloting:
PASSED Resolution 2020-14 Budget and Audit
PASSED Resolution 2020-15 Uniformed Forces List
TABLED Resolution 2021-01 Event Participation Via Virtual and/or Electronic Means
All other resolutions were also tabled. The NPE, Brother Wayne Barnes, informed the delegates that he will
appoint a commission to create a Constitution and Bylaws, using the current National Regulations and Bylaws,
for the delegates to review and potentially approve at the next ANC.
