I attended the Conference of Grand Masters of North American in Arlington, VA from 17-21
February 2023 and I will be attending the North Carolina Regional Conference & Encampment on
March 4, 2023.

I sincerely hope to see everyone at the Annual National Convention being held in June in Harrisburg,
PA. We will have a great educational program in place that will benefit Area and Regional
Representatives, Chapter Presidents and Secretaries and National Committee members. The Education
and Training Committee has worked hard on their presentation. Information about the Convention
will soon be available on the National Sojourners Website. See you in Harrisburg.

National President and 1st Vice President at Cornerstone Laying

On February 20, 2023, the Grand Lodge of Virginia re-enacted the Cornerstone laying of the George
Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, Virginia. Pictured below are National
st
President, Bro. Denny Norris and National 1 Vice President, Bro. Carl Diamond, who were able to
observe the ceremonies from the VIP seats. The ceremony was preceded by a parade through the
streets of Alexandria by several thousand Brother Master Masons and others, representing hundreds of
Lodges and other Masonic Bodies. The event was streamed live by the Southern Jurisdiction, Ancient
and Accepted Scottish Rite, to those who could not attend. The second picture show a small portion of
the attendees who had earlier marched in the parade.
