A PREFACE TO AN EPILOGUE

By Hailey Thomas I Illustrations by Jyotsna Fernandes

An atom crashing against a surface collides

What faithful gimmick does it abide?

A small glimpse of what a star could provide,

If it were to clash against the wall of the far wide

Such a drapery does cover this universe,

As it aides the safety of all its subjects

To be seen through a vacuum of constant error,

A space in between the far wide fallen in terror

A vacuum of suction, the constant pull

A short way of passing through dimensions

The dust flows off the celestials and swirls as the East Wind

The pattern combines and energy flows

Prophecies being fulfilled as it comes to an end,

Or is this just the creation of what needs to begin?
