Havarti is a semisoft Danish cow's milk table cheese that can be sliced, grilled, or melted. Made like most cheeses,
rennet is introduced into the cow’s milk to cause curdling. The curds are pressed into cheese molds which are drained,
and then the cheese is aged for typically three months.

Havarti is a rindless cheese with a smooth and cream coloured surface. It has very small and irregular openings ("eyes")
distributed in the mass of the cheese. The taste is buttery, somewhat sweet and slightly acidic. When left at room
temperature, the cheese tends to soften quickly.
