The importance of prayer cannot be over-emphasized because what
you can't control in the natural can definitely be controlled
spiritually through prayer. Also, everything bows to prayer.

''That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow,
of things in heaven, and things on earth, and things
under the earth;
Philippians 2:10,

And I will do whatever you ask in my Name,

So that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Jon 14: 13.

Therefore as long as your children's life and training is concerned

every parent should live a lifestyle of prayer. May we live to see the
result of our labor of love over our children because prayer is labor in
Christ? May our prayer come through just as that of Simeon and
Anna? '' That day the Spirit led him to the temple. so when Mary

and Joseph came to present the baby Jesus to the Lord as the law
required, Simeon took the child in his arm and praised God, saying
'' Sovereign Lord, now let your servant die in peace, as you have

promised. I have seen your salvation which you have prepared for
all people. Luke 2: 27 - 32

2:38. Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave

thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were
looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.
