Also, we have an enemy who goes about whether invited or not, he
does not stay on his own, he goes about seeking who to devour.

''Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy
the devil prowls around like a roaring lion l
ooking for someone to devour’’, 1 Pt 5: 8.

The only way to fight this enemy is through prayer. Just as Nehemiah

admonishes the Jews, the same word is speaking to us this day over
the Sanballat of our homes in Nehemiah 4: 1 – 14

Vs.14. After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles,

the officials and the rest of the people, '' Don't be afraid of them.
Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your

families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your

homes.''

In Ephesians 6 we see the whole armor for defense, shield and

protection while prayer is to attack through the sword of the Spirit.

We also see that we’re not dealing with flesh and blood but they are
wicked forces. '' Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take

our stand against the devils schemes. For our struggle is not
against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the

authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the
spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, (Ephesians 6: 11 -

12). We see in the life of Peter that Satan has desire, so also in the life

of Cain we can see SIN has desire.
