They will continue to repeat such offences over and over again so
you must avoid compromise in disciplining a child over every act of

disobedience and sinful act no matter where and to whom. Example
a child did something bad at home and he lies about it, then you got
angry because he lie and beat him but you went to a friend's house
she was cut doing something and lying about it instead of you getting
angry you parted his back and called it being smart, I tell you that

child will continue to lie no matter what you did. Some parents feel
comfortable watching their child being rude, disrespectful, and
insulting others but when it comes to them they get angry, and you
will keep shouting without making any sense. They will definitely
grow up being rude and disrespectful. What goes around comes
around.

The greatest Joy of a parent is not because their children have all
the money in the whole world but peace of mind from their
children, (we see that in 1 King 1).

Discipline your children, and they
will give you peace; they will bring you
the delights you desire,
(Proverb 29: 17).

Discipline your children, for in that there is hope; Do not be a

willing party to their death, (Proverb 19: 18). We have seen the
children from a very wealthy home engage in all manner of evil
even prostitution yet they have everything at their disposal. They
are the thorn in their parent's neck. One will ask, “What else they
want from life? The answer is that which money can't afford.

They need a good shepherd to know the true meaning and value
of life.
