COL Robert L. Le’iato’s Samoan assume responsibility of the Finance and Comptroller School
COL Robert L. Le’iato assumed the role and responsibilities as the 43rd
Commandant of the Finance and Comptroller School and Chief of the
Corps. He officially took on these duties when he received the FCS colors
from Col. Jason T. Edwards, the Soldier Support Institute commander,
during a ceremony held in the SSI auditorium at Fort Jackson on July 30.
COL Le’iato's connection to Fort Jackson dates back to 2003 when he
attended what was then called the Finance School, and later served as the
Chief of Proponency for the Army Financial Management School.
