FROM THE FCA VICE PRESIDENT
I am thrilled to serve as the Vice President (VP) of the Finance Corps Association
(FCA), alongside Mr. Gennaro Penn, FCA President. It is truly an honor and a
privilege to have been elected as Your VP, and I am deeply grateful to each of you
for entrusting me with this significant role. I look forward to working with such
dedicated professionals who share a commitment to supporting and advancing our
Corps.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to CSM (R) Paul Morrissette for his Mr. Sahib J. Singh
exceptional leadership within the FCA, as well as for his continued mentorship and guidance.
Additionally, I want to recognize and thank the individuals who have volunteered to serve in
key roles over the next two years, including Chief of Staff, Secretary, Treasurer, VP for Awards, VP
for Membership, and VP for Sales & Marketing. I am also incredibly appreciative of the talented
members of the Executive Council (EC) who have stepped up to serve. Without your dedication,
the FCA would not be where it is today. Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment.
A little about me: I am originally from Long Island, New York, and I enlisted in the U.S. Army in
2011 as a 36B, Financial Management Technician. I served on Active Duty until August 2023,
holding various positions, including Disbursing Technician, Vendor Services Specialist, Squad
Leader, Instructor, Small Group Leader, Budget Analyst, and Financial Management NCO. In
August 2023, I transitioned from Active Duty to the National Guard, joining the District of
Columbia National Guard as an M-Day Soldier with the 1946th Financial Management Support
Detachment. Currently, I serve as a Budget Officer/Analyst for the Civilian Protection Center of
Excellence, within the CP11, 0560 (Budget Analysis) series, as my full-time occupation.
As we move forward, I am committed to strengthening the partnership we have built together. The
success of our organization lies in the hands of each member, and through our collective efforts
and volunteerism, we can achieve great things. Your involvement is essential as we pursue our
shared goals of growth, modernization, and unity across all components.
One of my key priorities as VP will be to foster collaboration between COMPO 1, COMPO 2, and
COMPO 3. I am dedicated to bridging any gaps, enhancing communication, and ensuring that all
of our members—Active, Reserve, and National Guard—have the resources and support they
need to thrive. Together, we can create a more cohesive Finance Corps community that benefits
from the unique strengths each component brings.
Looking to the future, I am excited about the initiatives we are undertaking. One major project
currently under discussion is the development of a new, modernized website. This platform will
not only improve our online presence but also serve as a central hub for both current and future
members. With enhanced functionality and resources, it will help boost membership, foster
engagement, and provide new opportunities for professional growth within the association.
As we move forward, I am confident that, with your continued support and participation, we will
achieve all our goals. Thank you again for this incredible opportunity to serve as your Vice
President. I look forward to working closely with each of you to build a stronger, more connected
Finance Corps Association.
