organisations they represented.
Agenda 4 Nominate the Secretary of the Standing Committee on Publication,
Publicity, Education, Culture and Art
Committee Secretary is Mr. Michael Young from the Buddhist Discussion
Centre, Australia
Agenda 5 Plans for 2018 - 2020
Pursuant to a detailed discussion the following resolutions were accepted:
1. That The WFB needs to update and renew their website and general
online activity. This may involve creating a Facebook account, YouTube
channel and other forms of social media.
2. That the WBU will commission an academic history of The WFB in
the form of a booklet.
3. That the Standing Committee on Publication, Publicity, Education,
Culture and Art will host a seminar themed ‘Buddhist Education for the
Youth’ in Bangladesh. All members and WFB Office Bearers will be invited.
4. That Standing Committee on Publication, Publicity, Education, Culture
and Art appreciates the biannual publication of The WFB magazine and
recommends it be distributed to all Regional Centres.
