1. Appointment and Designation

1.1 Honorary Treasurer of The WFB
At the 90 EXCO Meeting in Tokyo, Japan B.E. 2560 (2017) and according to Article 8

of the Constitution of The WFB, President of The WFB, appointed Ms. Pensri
Roungpong, who previously as Assistant Honorary Treasurer, as Honorary Treasurer
of The WFB with effective from 18 September B.E. 2560 (2017) onwards.

1.2 Advisor to the President of The WFB

At the 89 EXCO Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand B.E. 2560 (2017), there were 2
persons appointed as Advisors to the President of The WFB as follows:

Ven. Tan Ngoc Ho (Thich Vien Ly) from International Buddhist Cultural Organization,
g
U.S.A. was appointed. He has a long relationship with The WFB since H.E.
Professor Sanya Dharmasakti. It is hoped that he can assist in creating more network
and activity of The WFB in U.S.A.

Ven. Wu Shin from Pure Land Learning College Association Inc., Australia and
g
a senior member of Hong Kong Buddhist Education Foundation Ltd., Hong
Kong, who assisted The WFB organized activities at UNESCO in Paris B.E. 2549
(2006), the World Buddhist Assembly in Bangkok B.E. 2556 (2013) and recently
the International Peace Conference at the headquarter of UNESCO in Paris B.E.
2560 (2017); his extensive experiences of organizing international interfaith dialogue
and possessing good relationship with Buddhist scholars, he certainly is very much
benefit to the role of The WFB at international level.

1.3 Deputy Secretary-General of The WFB

With the decision of H.E. Phan Wannamethee, President of The WFB, at the 90 th
EXCO Meeting in Tokyo, Japan B.E. 2560 (2017); there were 2 persons invited as
Deputy Secretary-General of The WFB as follows:

Rev. Yoshiaki (Ryosho) Shoji from All Japan Young Buddhist Association (JYBA,
g
a Regional Centre of the World Fellowship of Buddhist Youth in Japan) and was
previous President of JYBA from B.E. 2558-2560 (2015-2017).

Col. Sudath Madugalle from All Ceylon Buddhist Congress (ACBC, a Regional
g
Centre of The WFB in Sri Lanka) who previously was an Assistant Secretary-General
of The WFB and currently Vice-President of ACBC.
