Cooperation with other organizations

               Strengthening relationship with Regional Centres of The WFB
               Since the last two years H.E. Phan Wannamethe, President of The WFB, had assigned me,
               as Secretary-General, to visit many Regional Centres of The WFB as followed:

                g   B.E. 2559 (2516)

                   Early October, I was assigned to attend the inauguration of the Most Rev. Monshu Ohtani
                   Kojun, the 25  Head Priest of Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha Buddhist Organization,
                                th
                   Japan.

                   Early April attended the Ancestral Remembrance Ceremony on Qing Ming Festival
                   2017 hosted by Hong Kong Buddhist Education Foundation Ltd. (a Regional Centre of
                   The WFB in Hong Kong).  The ceremony was a Chinese traditional culture to cultivate
                   virtues developed from the ethics of loving and respecting parents, ancestor, teachers
                   and country for expressing gratefulness.
                   Then in November, H.E. Phan Wannamethee and me had attended the Opening
                   Ceremony of Won-Buddhism temple in Bangkok, Thailand which enabled co-operation
                   and mutual activities of the two organizations locally and internationally.  It also provided
                   Korean and Thai people to learn each other culture and tradition thru Buddhism.

                   24 - 28 May - Visited Regional Centres in South Korea namely Jogye Order of Korean
                   Buddhism, Jin-Gak Buddhist Order of Korean Buddhism, Korean Buddhist Taego Order,
                   Won-Buddhism, Lay Buddhist Association for the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism,
                   and other Regional Centres of The WFB.

                   20 - 21 July - Phra Shakyavongsvisuddhi (Anil Sakya), Rector of the World Buddhist
                   University - subordinate organ of The WFB, under the Royal Initiative of HRH.
                   Princess Bajrakitiyabha Project handed over 42 Buddha images casted by death row
                   inmates of prison in Bangkok, Thailand as token of present to inmates in three main
                   prisons of Kathmandu and Patan including 34 Buddhist organizations all over Nepal.
                   The ceremony of handing over the Buddha images was presided over by former Prime
                   Minister of Nepal and many Nepalese Senators.


               The WFB banner or logo applying for organizing conference, forum,
               and other activities
               At the 91  EXCO Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand B.E. 2561 (2018), it is agreed that any
                        st
               activities that organizes under the banner or logo of The WFB in any countries, the organizer
               should get consent from The WFB EXCO Meeting with consultation from Vice-President
               of The WFB who is responsible in that geographical area.
