Check if the result is ok? IN
Yes>go to Step 4.
NO> check and repair relevant failure or replace the injector or harness. DI
4. Check the crankshaft/cam shaft position sensor and relevant circuit
a. Check the crankshaft position sensor (refer to Chapter DI diagnosis- engine electronic control fault EG
diagnosis–crank position sensor failure)
b. Check the camshaft position sensor (refer to Chapter DI diagnosis- engine electronic control fault TR
diagnosis–camshaft position sensor failure)
Check if the result is ok?
AX
Yes>go to Step 5.
NO> check and repair relevant failure or replace relevant sensor or harness.

5. Replace and check ECM
a. Replace ECM.

b. Check if the failure is eliminated.
