DI - 120 Diagnosis - Diagnosis-fault diagnosis of electronic and electrical parts
Diagnosis procedure
1. Check the diagnosis interface fuse
a. Ignition switch:LOCK.
b. Check if the diagnosis interface fuse F21 in the fuse box of instrument panel is broken
If the fuse is broken?
Yes> replace with the same spec fuse(10A).
NO>go to Step 2.
2. Check the diagnosis interface power supply and grounding circuit
a. Ignition switch:LOCK.
b. Measure the resistance between No 4 and 5 terminals of
diagnosis interface connector B018 and grounding with a
multimeter.
Standard resistance:
Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value
B0018(4)-grounding About 0Ω
B0018(5)-grounding About 0Ω
c. Check the voltage between No.16 and the ground of
diagnosis interface connector B018.
Standard voltage:
Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value
Standard value B0018(16)-grounding
Storage battery voltage
Check if the result is ok?
Yes> Repair the power and ground circuit of diagnostic interface.
NO>go to Step 3.
